After 5 pm and on weekends, Central Veterinary Clinic and Hospital converts to an emergency veterinary clinic. What does this mean?
This means that we don’t schedule routine appointments after 5 pm. We only take emergency veterinary consultations after 5 pm and on weekends. We still run by appointment to ensure your baby receives adequate attention and receives a timely diagnosis and treatment.
Note that emergency consultations require longer consultation times (usually 30-60 minutes) and staff are on penalty rates. As such, consultation fees are necessarily higher than standard weekday prices, set at $210 for an emergency consultation. (Standard weekday prices are $90. If it is not an emergency consider ringing reception to book a standard weekday GP consultation.)
